“Eddie and Pablo were a dream team for our project. We had visions of a continuous 3-minute-long drone shot giving our viewers a behind-the-scenes look of the last 3 minutes of production before the start of ABC’s The View. There’s just one hitch: it meant flying through 15 spaces split between three floors, with incredible hairpin turns and acrobatics to fly under, over and around people, set pieces and other obstacles. The logical thing to do, in the hands of a less skilled team, would be to scale down the project into something “reasonable” and manageable. With a staff of 100 and another 150 audience members involved, we fully expected our dream to be minimized and broken into pieces to keep from needing dozens of takes. But Eddie and Pablo did multiple site surveys and test runs to make sure they could fly the path to perfection without technical interruptions. Even on the day of the shoot, many people suggested scaling back the project with the belief that it was an impossible feat. But the team at Xizmo proved them wrong. The end result is a masterpiece of drone piloting and a technological wonder. From start to finish, Eddie, Pablo and their team were amazing partners and they far exceeded our expectations. We could not be more proud of the project and more impressed by the Xizmo Media team.”
